Meet Our Equine Veterinary Team

Here’s some insight into the experience, qualifications and passions of our team members, all people who care for horses with the ultimate in professionalism, expertise, compassion and attention to detail.

Chantal Siddle

Chantal Siddle started her equestrian life at two years old, the child of respected BHSI Nessa Nashat. Qualifying as a BHSAI at just seventeen, Chantal progressed through the Pony Club route to gain the vital knowledge and experience required to succeed.

Since then her career has taken her across the continent and back, working for the likes of Ginny Leng and Leida Stryke and training with Anky Van Grunsven. Kenneth Clawson, a particularly influential trainer, has become a life-long friend.

Now based back home in rural Shropshire, Chantal teaches and competes full time. Training riders at every level, her impressive address book boasts JRN and juniors, FEI pony riders, intermediate and international event riders. She also teaches pure dressage.

Chantal’s humorous and likeable personality makes her the perfect match for grassroots and novice riders with lower-key competitive expectations.

The Vet - Mark Siddle BVSc MRCVS

After qualifying at the highly regarded University of Liverpool, Leahurst, Mark took on key roles in various leading thoroughbred yards before spending three years as resident stud vet at the prestigious Irish National Stud.

In Australia he worked at Woodland Stud who offer quality stallions to the world through AI as a paramount source of precocious young group winners. Our Veterinary Physiotherapist - Emma Dainty

We’re delighted to work with Emma Dainty, resident Chartered Physiotherapist, at our Shropshire base. Emma runs monthly clinics on-site, essential for successful equine rehabilitation and therapy, working closely with our vet Mark Siddle to formulate effective, tailored recuperation programmes.

As a qualified chartered human physiotherapist, Emma has a broad experience of sports injuries. She gained invaluable experience with the NHS and RAF before embarking on her Masters Degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at the Royal Veterinary College.

A truly talented physio, in 2012 Emma was selected to work at Greenwich Park as a Veterinary Physiotherapist, for the now-legendary London Olympics.

Emma has been instrumental in the successful recovery of numerous orthopaedic and spinal cases in large and small animals. Her case load regularly includes a broad spectrum of horses and ponies across every disciplines, from FEI international competitors and Racehorses to pleasure horses and pets.

Our rider and horse analyst - Russell Quire

The founder of Centaur Biomechanics, Russell specialises in horse and rider performance analysis. His career is steeped in equestrianism, working with people like Di Lampard and Tim Stockdale, and taking his talents abroad to Germany for a time.

While completing his degree, Russell managed an equine rehabilitation centre for 16 months. These days he brings the very latest software and techniques to focus on rider posture, maintaining and improving performance and increasing the soundness of both horse and rider.
